Direct television is a type of satellite television transmission in which television signals are received transmitted directly to your home from over head satellites without depending upon local cable operators. The underlying principle behind direct television is not much different from that of cable television. Both broadcast signals using a powerful antenna using radio waves .however the problem with normal cable antenna is that the radio signals used to broadcast television shoot out from the broadcast antenna in a straight line.
